...when you are cramped for space.
I admit I still haven't overcome my addiction for
Pinterest. And if you, like me, are interested in home decor, chances are you've stumbled upon tons of pictures of gorgeously styled bedside tables. I always love getting inspiration for my own home, however when it comes to bedside tables I'm facing the problem that mine can't sit twelve people! Or in other words... it's really, really tiny.
So since some of you might face a similar challenge, I thought I'd share my essentials for a tiny, yet cute and practical bedside table.
THE NECESSITIES:
- Cute lamp
- Alarm clock... or three
When cramped for space I'd suggest combining these two! I've had my Philips Ambilight alarm for two years now and while it looks kinda spacey, I wouldn't want to live without it. In addition to an alarm clock and a reading light it's also equipped with a radio! So three-in-one ain't so bad.
- Books
Nothing better than a relaxed Sunday morning in bed with a book and a cup of coffee!
- Tray / Flowers
I've found it handy to have a little tray on my bedside table, to hold all the small things which are inevitably accumulating next to a bed, like glasses, bracelets, nail polishes... Due to the rim of the tray these things don't roll off the table all the time. (Glasses on the floor... major pet-peeve of mine...)
I also really love waking up next to fresh flowers. Just put one or two blossoms into a cute vase (or water glass for that matter) and they'll make a huge Impact.
Did I Forget something? What are your essentials for a bedside table?

| The puple wooden ball was a gift from a friend of mine. It smells like lavender and helps a lot if you have trouble sleeping. |
